TOBY COWERN

Based in Scandinavia and frequently working deep inside the Arctic Circle, Toby brings extensive experience in extreme cold weather expedition, wilderness survival and first responder training.His background spans military training, emergency services and risk management, alongside deep work in nature immersion and rewilding. Training teams and individuals for ground breaking, often world first extreme cold weather expeditions. Toby believes that reconnecting with the natural environment restores something essential, attention, steadiness and perspective.In 26° Below, he sets the pace. He ensures safety, calm and structure within the environment.

MARK STANTON

After 30 years in policing, rising to Chief Superintendent and leading through crisis and organisational change, Mark understands leadership under pressure.Burnout and personal loss reshaped his own relationship with pace and identity.Today, he creates spaces where people can speak honestly about responsibility, direction and what strength really means.In 26° Below, he protects the tone of the group.He listens carefully, asks considered questions and ensures there is nothing to prove.
